Who we are

WA Fuel Prices is made by Star Software. This policy explains what the app does with information on your phone. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Fuel prices

The app shows fuel prices published by FuelWatch, a public service of the Government of Western Australia. Those prices are not collected from you. The app requests them so it can display current and next-day prices for stations you look up.

Searches, favourites, and location

You can search by suburb or area and save favourite searches. Those lists are stored on your device so the app can show them again. If you allow location access, it is used only to find nearby stations. Star Software does not receive a live trail of where you go, and we do not build a profile of your movements.

Notifications

Daily price notifications are optional. If you turn them on, the operating system’s push service is used to deliver them. You can turn them off in the app or in system settings. We do not use notifications to advertise other products.

Accounts, advertising, and selling data

The app does not ask you to create an account. It does not show third-party advertising. Star Software does not sell your information.

Children

WA Fuel Prices is a general-audience fuel-price viewer. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how the app treats your information, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
